The Shalom Catholic Community announces that its Founder and General Moderator, Moysés Azevedo, fractured his ankle last Sunday, February 22.
On the evening of February 23, he underwent surgery, which was successfully completed as expected by the medical team. He has now returned home, is in good condition, and is recovering well, thanks be to God.
The estimated recovery period is approximately two months. After this initial phase, he will continue treatment with physical therapy, in accordance with medical guidance.
The Shalom Catholic Community remains confident and grateful to God for the success of the surgery and is united in prayer for the full recovery of its founder. The community asks for everyone’s prayers during this time of healing.
